Hi nsumner, Please use the /SP- command with the installer as well as it can prevent some issues like this. However, we have seen issues in the past where some package managers/deployers simply will not allow the installation of drivers and services by default, I'm afraid we don't know why. I'm also...

Hi Donal,

Thanks for letting us know you got it working, we certainly don't recommend leaving driver verification disabled any longer than you need to.

Hi Donal, I'm afraid I haven't seen this occur on Windows 10 before, we used to see it regularly on Windows 7 due to an update that was required a long time ago. First, could you please right click the Viscosity Virtual Adapter in device manager, select Uninstall, tick "Delete the driver software fo...

Hi yves,

You can setup your network bridge however suits your needs. You can have your TAP OpenVPN server on a separate network or take DHCP from your main network. I recommend you refer to OPNSense documentation for how to do either.

We've identified a regression issue on 32-bit installations. Viscosity 1.8.4 Build 1652 is now available via auto-update that will resolve this issue.

Thank you very much for reporting this once again!

Hi Yves, Autodiscovery of network resources I'm afraid will not work on a TUN network connection. For this, you will need to change to a TAP device setup, this will require either modifications to your existing server or a new server be setup, however OPNSense should make it pretty easy to setup a T...

Hi asdffdsa6131, If redirect-gateway is in the configuration you imported, edit your connection and go to the Networking tab then ensure the All Traffic dropdown is set to Automatic. If redirect-gateway is being pushed by the server as well, route-nopull is all you should need to ignore it. Regards,...

Hi sjgibbs65, As a first step, please restart your PC. As this is a new setup, if you've installed a whole lot of applications at once it could simply be a case that your PC needs a reboot to clear some stuck ports. Upon rebooting, if the problem still exists, please try the following: - Ensure no F...
